PUBLIC HEARINGS

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Bonner County Commissioners will hold public hearings at the following times on Wednesday, November 16, 2005, in the Board Room of the Bonner County Courthouse, 215 S. First Avenue, to consider the following requests:

1:30 P.M. - FILE S1165-05 - FESTUS HILLS - PRELIMINARY PLAT - CHARLES BLAKLEY & HARLEY LIPPERT are requesting to subdivide a +/-40 acre parcel of land into seven lots ranging from +/-5-+/-10 acres in size. The site will be served by proposed Miss Kitty Lane, a private ingress/egress easement off of Peninsula Loop Road. The site is zoned Rural and is located approximately 5 miles north of the city of Priest River in Section 30, Township 57 North, Range 4 West, B.M. The Planning and Zoning Commission, at the regularly scheduled public hearing of October 6, 2005, recommended approval of this file to the Board of County Commissioners.

1:45 P.M. - FILE SS1210-05 - TIERRA VERDE - PRELIMINARY PLAT - FIRST NATIONAL BANK ET AL is proposing to subdivide a +/-20 acre parcel into two lots of +/-10 acres each. The subject property is zoned Agricultural and is accessed by Samuels Road in Section 33, Township 59 North, Range 1 West, B.M., +/-10 miles north of Ponderay.

2:00 P.M. - FILE SM884-05 - COUNTRY COVE - MODIFICATION OF PLAT - LEN HANNAMAN & CEDARS DEVELOPMENT CO., INC. are requesting to modify a condition of preliminary plat relating to fire protection for Country Cove Subdivision to allow installation of fire protection measures at the time of construction rather than when the final plat is recorded. The site is located at U.S. Highway 95 and Sherwood's Road, +/- 2-1/2 miles south of Sandpoint in Section 2, Township 56 North, Range 2 West, B.M. The property is zoned Suburban-1/3.

Please contact the Bonner County Planning Department the day before the scheduled hearings to verify if these items will be heard on the date and at the time specified or continued to another date and time.

IN THE EVENT THAT OCCUPANCY OF THE BOARD ROOM EXCEEDS FIRE CODE STANDARDS, THE HEARINGS COULD BE RELOCATED TO ANOTHER PUBLIC LOCATION WITHIN WALKING DISTANCE. SIGNS WILL BE POSTED IDENTIFYING THE NEW LOCATION.
