OF SECTION 504

GRIEVANCE PROCEDURE

Pursuant to Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act, enacted in 1973 and amended in 1978 and in 1986, all citizens are hereby notified that Bonner County has adopted a Grievance Procedure for citizens who feel they have been discriminated against on the basis of disability.

A responsible employee has been designated by Bonner County assist with this process. The written grievance procedure is available on request or inquires may be made to the Personnel Office of Bonner County by calling 208-265-1456.

Citizens need not give their name in order to receive information about their situation and anti-discrimination laws. If it appears the individual is a victim of illegal discrimination, the designated employee will discuss the various options which are available to resolve the complaint.
