NOTICE OF

ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS

Sealed Bids will be received by Bonner County at the office of the County Clerk of said County on or before the 8th day of September, 2005, until the hour of 10:00 o'clock a.m. for the Hope/Clark Fork Collection Facility.

The project generally consists of the construction of a turn lane on State Highway 200, a solid waste collection facility containing asphalt, concrete walls and utility improvements for a shop building.

Bids will be opened in the office of the Commissioners at the Bonner County Court House on September 8, 2005, at 10:00 o'clock am on said date. All interested individuals are welcome to attend.

Copies may be obtained at the Public Works Office upon payment of Thirty-Five dollars and 00/100 $35.00), non-refundable, for each set. The standard set of contract documents includes the project drawings.

All bids shall be presented or otherwise delivered to the County Clerk under seal with a concise statement on the outside thereof identifying the expenditure to which the bid pertains.

All bids shall contain one of the following forms of bidder's security in an amount equal to 5% of the amount bid: (a) Cash, (b) Cashier's Check made payable to the County, (c) Certified Check made payable to the County, or (d) bidder's bond executed by a qualified Idaho Surety Company, made payable to the County. Bids will remain subject to acceptance for 45 days after the bid opening.

Davis-Bacon Wage Rates will not be applicable to this project.

The right is reserved to reject any or all Bids.
