Margaret Mildred Semple, 83

Margaret Mildred Semple, 83, passed away in Sandpoint, Idaho, on Thursday, Sept. 1, 2005.

A celebration of life will be held at her residence on Sunday, Sept. 11, 2005, from 1-4 p.m., 202 Jackson St., Priest River, Idaho.

Margaret was born in Lake City, Minn., on Dec. 13, 1921, the daughter of Herman and Anna (Lessman) Yorde.

She grew up in Lake City and attended local schools and graduated from Lake City High School.

Margaret worked as a nurse's aide at the Redwing, Minn., hospital for several years. She met and married Virgil Semple on April 12, 1946 in Lake City, Minn. They resided in Milwaukee, Wis., Colorado, and settled in California prior to moving to Priest River in 1999.

Her hobbies included gardening, collecting dishes and raising her family.

Survivors include her husband, Virgil Semple of Priest River; a daughter, Janet Darcy of California; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild; and her daughters-in-law, Beverly and Barbara Semple of Sandpoint, Idaho.

She was preceded in death by her three sons Jim, John and Jerry; and a brother.
