It was a bittersweet win for Clark Fork on Friday as the Wampus Cats easily defeated Cusick, Wash., 34-14. However, it came at a cost — quarterback Brian Young, who dislocated his shoulder at the start of the game.

Young played with the dislocated shoulder for much of the first half and the rest of the squad "stepped up big" in the win, said Clark Fork coach Brian Arthun.

Bill Clayton lead the team in rushing, with 201 yards on 20 carries. He had two touchdowns.

Evan Martin had 72 yards receiving and scored two touchdowns and Young had the team's first touchdown.

Kyle Ruen "came up big" on the defensive end with three sacks and freshman Jake Jeffres played well at linebacker.
