City of Clark Fork, Idaho

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN: That the general election to be held in and for the City of Clark Fork, Idaho, will be held on Tuesday, November 8, 2005, on which day polls will be open from 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. The election is held for the purpose of electing a Mayor and two councilmembers for a term of four years each. Candidates for city elected offices are required to file a declaration of candidacy with the city clerk, accompanied by a nonrefundable filing fee of $40 or a petition of candidacy signed by at least five qualified city electors. Declaration of candidacy forms can be picked up at the clerk's office, beginning September 16,2005, during business hours.

The deadline for filing declarations of candidacy is Friday, September 30, 2005 at 5:00 p.m. Declarations of candidacy are available in the office of the city clerk which is located directly behind City Hall at 1 10 E. 3rd from the hours of 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon.

Declarations of candidacy can be turned into the city clerk's office, but will you will need to allow two days for the city to verify it with the County. It is the city's suggestion that all declarations of candidacy be taken in to the County and verified first before turning them into the city to avoid this wait.
