Clark Fork beats Coeur d'Alene Charter

COEUR d'ALENE — Tiffany Van Buren totaled 15 kills, 37 digs and seven aces as the visiting Wampus Cats escaped with a 24-26, 28-26, 22-25, 25-20, 15-11 victory in North Star League play at Holy Family Catholic School.

Bailey Hewitt added 14 assists for Clark Fork (5-3, 8-7).

Katie Baker had 13 kills and four blocks for Coeur d'Alene Charter Academy (2-6, 4-6). Kalyn Lovlyn added six kills and 18 digs, Shea McHugh 13 assists, Janie Helgeson 19 digs and three aces.

"It was just a great, great match," Charter coach Dan Nicklay said. "This was probably our most consistent match of the year."

The Panthers travel to Lakeside on Saturday.
