Jeremy 'J.J' Hamberg, 20

Jeremy "J.J." Hamberg, 20, passed away, Tuesday, Sept. 27, 2005, in Sandpoint, Idaho.

Viewing will be held one hour prior to service time. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 1, 2005, at the Lakeview Funeral Home with Pastor Nate Warren of First Baptist Church officiating.

J.J. was born on Jan. 13, 1985, in Kalispell, Mont., to Helen and Rainey Farris. He grew up in western Montana and eastern Washington. At age 11 he moved into a foster home in Sandpoint, Idaho. He attended Farmin Elementary School and Sandpoint High School.

J.J. spent one summer working for the U.S. Forest Service in Bonner County building trails. He also ran a lawn mowing and landscaping business called J.J.'s Lawn Service.

He attended the Calvary Chapel and First Baptist Church in Sandpoint, and was found often at their youth church groups. J.J. had an outgoing friendly personality, and Sandpoint provided him with a large community family support system.

He enjoyed biking, skiing, cooking, fishing, camping, listening to music, and horseback riding.

He is survived by his foster parents, Julie and Marv Reinbold and family of Sandpoint; his grandmother, Emma Farris of Pocatello, Idaho; and a sister, Jennifer of Montana.

He was preceded in death by his parents and sister Lauralee.
