Phyllis Ann St.Cyr, 79, passed away on Tuesday, April 4, 2006, in Sandpoint, Idaho.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, April 8, 2006, at the Lakeview Funeral Home in Sandpoint with the Rev. Dennis C. Day of St. Joseph's Catholic Church officiating. Viewing for friends and family will by held Friday evening from 5-7 p.m. at the Lakeview Funeral Home.
Phyllis was born on Oct. 4, 1926 in Duluth, Minn., to Philip and Anne Cossette. She grew up and attended schools in Duluth graduating high school at Central High.
She married Keith "Kit" St. Cyr on Nov. 27, 1963, in Calgary, Alberta. Phyllis worked in Calgary in the banking industry as the manager's executive secretary. She moved to their home on Lake Pend Oreille in Sagle, Idaho, in 1999.
Phyllis was a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church in Duluth, Minn. In Calgary she loved horseback riding and they raised 18 head of horses. She loved wildlife, especially the wood ducks that would come up on her deck.
Phyllis did not like waste; in fact she would collect nice clothing from estate sales, launder them, and donate them to the men's shelter. She loved traveling including trips to Hawaii, Mexico, and Alaska, enjoyed the outdoors, and was an avid reader.
She is survived by her husband, Keith "Kit" St. Cyr of Sagle; four sons, Cardell (Diane) St. Cyr of Sagle, Douglas Renier of White Bear Lake, Minn., Kent Renier of Bloomington, Minn., and Dean Renier of Duluth, Minn.; a daughter, Leann Bjella of Everett, Wash.; a brother, the Rev. Ray Cossette of Duluth; 16 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and oldest son, Steven.
