Charles 'Chuck' Haddad, 59

Charles "Chuck" Haddad passed away on Saturday, April 8, 2006.

A memorial service will take place on Wednesday, April 12, 2006, at 3 p.m. at the Lakeview Funeral Home on Olive and Superior. A reception will follow at the VFW Hall.

Chuck was born in Grand Rapids, Mich., on Jan 16, 1947. He has resided in Sandpoint for the past 12 years.

He loved nature, including fishing and bird watching. Chuck was active in many community service organizations, including the Lions Club, St. Joseph's soup kitchen and local veterans groups.

Chuck died from cancer due to exposure to Agent Orange while serving as a Marine in Vietnam.

He is survived by his mother, Arlene; and sisters, Susan and Marilyn, all of Sandpoint. He also is survived by a daughter, Lisa of California; and a granddaughter, Sarina of Wisconsin; as well as nephews Jonah, Mariano and Benjamin. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert.

The family wishes to express their sincere appreciation to the staff at Valley Vista Care Center for their love and kindness.
