Bulldogs drop game to Vikings

| April 13, 2006 9:00 PM

COEUR d'ALENE — Andy Seaman drove in four runs and Alex Reyes pitched five innings of one-hit ball for the Vikings in the IEL game.

Seaman hit two-run singles in the first and third inning for Coeur d'Alene (7-2, 4-2 IEL). Reyes struck out five and threw four innings of no-hit ball before Alex Wolfe singled to lead off the fifth for Sandpoint (5-4, 5-4).

Sandpooint may have had heavy legs and tired arms from six-hours of wet baseball in last night's doubleheader sweep of Post Falls.

"It was an ugly game, Coeur d' Alene dominated every aspect of the game," said coach Mike Givens of his weary team. "They threw strikes, made routine plays and put the ball in play; we didn't."

The Bulldogs get a day to rest their tired arms before heading to Moscow on Saturday.
