Clark Fork rips Cd'A Charter

Coeur d'Alene — Clark Fork stormed through CDA Charter 7-1 Wednesday afternoon, as the boys went undefeated and garnered the respect of the opposing coach in the wins.

"I was encouraged by the play of our boys in singles considering how strong the Clark Fork team is," Ray Longpre, Coeur d'Alene Charter coach said. "And the win by our girls doubles team was a nice surprise."

The two teams were both limited on the girls side, so no singles matches were played. The last girls doubles match ended in a tie due to time restrictions.

Clark Fork travels to Lewiston on Saturday for a tournament against District 2 teams.

KELLOGG —The Kellogg Wildcats and Priest River Spartans finished in a 65-65 tie in the girls scoring, while the Spartan boys defeated Kellogg 82-48 on Wednesday at the Dale Hunt Track and Field.

Priest River's Richie Morales slammed in the sprints, and Amanda Corning and Angela Storro each had multiple wins for the Lady Spartans.
