Litterers making mess in rural parts of county
What I have to complain about I doubt very much if the culprits guilty can read, so I'm probably just whistling in the wind.
Today I picked up a 30-gallon bag of beer bottles, cans and trash in just a one-quarter of a mile that you city folks think is the place to discard your rubbish just because it's country. Not for one minute do I blame anyone in the county as I believe they think as I do … we have to take time out to clean up a mess to keep our property looking clean and decent, and for that chore I would like to suggest a hefty increase in city property by our county commissioners to cover a rebate in the county folks' waste management tax that is assessed them.
You people that think nothing of tossing a beer can or bit of trash out the window. Why don't you save it until you get home and toss it out in your front yard and see if you like looking at a pile of trash that makes your property looking like a pig sty. Had an old grandpappy with a bit of wisdom who said, "you can tell all about the people living in the home just by the looks of their yard."
You know just saving that bit of rubbish until you get home to dispose of it would immensely take less time of you and everyone else involved. But I know that's too much to expect any birdbrain to understand.
