City employees deserve thanks for crosswalk

We at the Ridley Apartments want to thank all of the Sandpoint City Council, city Clerk Maree Peck and the Public Works Department for helping get a crossing to the walk path.

We've tried to get this done for three years and it's nice to find someone who listened to us. People in wheelchairs who want to go to the walk path have to go a block down the highway and it's dangerous. All we needed was a crosswalk and bridge to get to the path and now we're going to get it in the near future.

Thank you, very much. We all appreciate it more than you know.
