Heather Gibson has passed.

Our garden has lost another flower

The garden weeps

In time, the empty spaces give birth to sweet memories

Daughter, sister, friend, community activist, wife and mother

Confidant: one to whom secrets are confided

All these roles define Heather

Loving definitions can be found in the tears and heartfelt loss of those who found their life enriched because of interaction with her

Through her selfless involvement in righteous causes of the lives of many she never met were touched and blessed

Heather moved quietly through our lives

She left no wake, only delicate ripples

Her passing by was gentle on the shore

Impressions left were deep and rich and stored in our soul

She leaves two young sons and a loving husband

They will fare well

The short time they spent with their Heather was enlightening

Witnessing her courage was one last gift to them

She leaves an inheritance of mountains of love, fortitude, guidance and a resolve to endure

Heather left with the world owing her
