NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

Notice is hereby given that the City Council of the City of Kootenai, Bonner County, Idaho, will conduct a public hearing at the city council meeting scheduled for 7:00 p.m., on Monday, the 21st day of August, 2006, at 204 Spokane Street, Kootenai, Idaho, the purpose of which is to consider amending the fee schedule for building permits to adopt the 1997 UBC fee schedule for all building permits and plan review fees and to amend the manufactured home placement fee. The amended fee schedule shall be as follows:

One and Two-family residential dwellings, April 2001 valuation data from

Including townhouses, and their ICBO Building Standards applied to

accessory structures the 1997 UBC Table 1-A, plus a 65% plan review fee

All structures, except for one and April 2001 valuation data from

two-family dwellings, including townhouses ICBO Building Standards and their accessory structures applied to the 1997 UBC Table 1-A, plus a 65% plan review fee Residential change of use and/or remodel Contractor valuation applied to the 1997 UBC Table 1-A, plus a 65% plan review fee Commercial change of use and/or remodel Contractor valuation applied to the 1997 UBC Table 1-A, plus a 65% plan review fee Investigation Fee for work without a permit Fee equal to the minimum permit fee. This fee is in addition to any

permit fee if a permit is issued.
