NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARINGS

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Bonner County Commissioners will hold public hearings at the following times on Wednesday, September 6, 2006, in the Board Room of the Bonner County Courthouse, 215 S. First Avenue, Sandpoint, Idaho, to consider the following requests:

1:30 P.M. - FILE 4:15 P.M. - FILE S1287-05 - RIDGEHAVEN 2ND ADDITION (FORMERLY BOX CANYON ESTATES, 2ND ADDITION) - PRELIMINARY PLAT - MICHAEL GEORGE AND COREY WILLIAMSON are requesting preliminary plat approval to subdivide a +/-30.92-acre parcel into six residential lots, ranging in size from +/-5.12 acres to +/-5.18 acres. The site is zoned Rural and is located off of Box Canyon Road, a private ingress/egress easement from Rapid Lightning Road, +/-16 miles northeast of the city of Kootenai in Sections 1 and 12, Township 58 North, Range 1 East. The Planning & Zoning Commission at its regularly scheduled public hearing of August 10th recommended approval of this application to the Board of County Commissioners.

1:45 P.M. - FILE S1340-06 - IDYLLWILD - PRELIMINARY PLAT - GARY LASATER CONSTRUCTION, INC. is seeking preliminary plat approval to subdivide a +/-35.22 acre tract into 7 lots, between +/-5 and +/-5.2 acres. The site is zoned Rural, and is located off of Lakeshore Drive, +/-5 miles southwest of Sandpoint, in Section 2, Township 56 North, Range 3 West, B.M. The Planning & Zoning Commission at its regularly scheduled public hearing of August 10th recommended approval of this application to the Board of County Commissioners.

Please contact the Bonner County Planning Department the day before the scheduled hearings to verify if these items will be heard on the date and at the time specified or continued to another date and time.

IN THE EVENT THAT OCCUPANCY OF THE BOARD ROOM EXCEEDS FIRE CODE STANDARDS, THE HEARINGS COULD BE RELOCATED TO ANOTHER PUBLIC LOCATION WITHIN WALKING DISTANCE. SIGNS WILL BE POSTED IDENTIFYING THE NEW LOCATION.
