Irma Cidalia Goodyear, 82, passed away in Clark Fork, Idaho, on Saturday, Aug. 25, 2006.
The vigil/Rosary service will be held at 4 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 30, in Coffelt's Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Carlos Perez, St. Joseph's Catholic Church, will preside. The Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Aug. 31, in the Clark Fork Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Clark Fork. The Rev. Dennis C. Day will officiate with interment to follow in the Clark Fork Cemetery.
Friends may call at Coffelt Funeral Service on Wednesday from noon until 4 p.m.
Irma was born on Oct. 17, 1923, in Ahuachapan, El Salvador. She grew up in El Salvador, where she received her schooling. In 1954, she immigrated to San Francisco, Calif. She worked in a film-processing lab, for the Bank of America, and as a sales clerk.
On April 21, 1965, she married Harold Goodyear in San Francisco. She and Harold moved to Clark Fork in 1981.
Irma was a member of the Clark Fork Sacred Heart Catholic Church, loving her church, and supporting the work of the church.
Nieces and nephews survive her, including Victor (and Patti) deLeon of Vancouver, Wash., Martha (and Harold) Goodyear of Ohio, and Tully (and Pete) Baker of Fremont, Calif.; great-nieces and great-nephews and her "Clark Fork family" Her parents; her husband, Harold; and two brothers, Ricardo and Hugo, preceded her in death.
Memor-ials may be made to the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, in Clark Fork, in memory of Irma Goodyear.
