PUBLIC HEARINGS

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Bonner County Planning and Zoning Commission will hold public hearings at the following times on Thursday, September 14, 2006, in Courtroom 4 of the Bonner County Courthouse, 215 S. First Avenue, Sandpoint, Idaho, to consider the following requests:

5:00 P.M. - FILE C837-05 - CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT FOR A CHURCH - STEVE & CINDY BRADSHAW are seeking a conditional use permit for a church. The project site is located south of Sandpoint near Lake Cocolalla, with access being provided off Cocolalla Loop Road, in Section 19, Township 55 North, Range 2 West, B.M.

5:15 P.M. - FILE V364-06 - VARIANCE REQUEST: FRONT YARD SETBACK - ROBERT & AMANDA BOGER are requesting a variance approval for a 10-foot front yard setback where a 25-foot setback is required, in order to construct addition to an existing single family dwelling and an attached garage. The subject property is zoned Recreation and is located off Eagle Flight Way, +/-15 miles southeast of Sandpoint in Section 21 of Township 56 North Range 1 West.

5:30 P.M. - FILE V354-05 - VARIANCE REQUEST: REAR YARD SETBACK - WILLIAM H. JACKY is seeking a 8-foot front yard setback from his property line, where a 25-foot is required in order to bring into compliance a recently constructed garage and in order to allow for a 12-foot expansion of the garage. The property is +/-25 miles north of the City of Priest River in Section 10, Township 59 North, Range 4 West.

6:00 P.M. - FILE S1370-06 - CROUSE ACRES - PRELIMINARY PLAT - CROUSE TRUST is requesting to subdivide a +/-80-acre parcel into six lots that range in size from 10 to 20-acres in size. The site is zoned Agricultural and is located off both Selle Road and Hickey Road, +/-10 miles northeast of the city of Ponderay in Section 22, Township 58 North, Range 1 West.

6:15 P.M. - FILE V363-06 - VARIANCE REQUEST: LOT SIZE MINIMUM - NORMAN STRAMPACH is requesting to vary from the Rural minimum lot size in order to allow an existing non-compliant parcel to be consistent with Bonner County Revised Code. The Rural zone district requires a 5-acre minimum; the subject parcel is 4.69-acres. The property is +/-1 mile northeast of the City of Kootenai in Section 6, Township 57 North, Range 1 West.

6:30 P.M. - FILE S1347-06 - KELSA ESTATES - PRELIMINARY PLAT - TED YUREK is proposing to subdivide a +/-72 acre parcel into 14 lots of +/-5 and +/-6.1 acres in size. The subject property is zoned Rural and is accessed by Blanchard Cut-off Road and Santiago Road, +/-12 miles south of the City of Oldtown, in Section 22, Township 54 North, Range 5 West, B.M.
