Firle Jean Redburn, 73

Firle Jean Redburn, 73, died on Monday, Dec. 4, 2006, at Battle Ground, Wash.

She was born Jan. 21, 1933, in Spokane, Wash., the daughter of Charles and Elanor Selle, and grew up in the Sandpoint, Idaho, area.

Firle was a member of Alpha Epsilon Delta pre-med honorary at the University of Idaho in 1953 and 1954.

She and her husband, Donald, had lived in Nome, Alaska, for a number of years; and they last resided in Battle Ground, where she had worked as a bank teller at First Federal Savings and Loan.

She enjoyed cooking, sewing, playing piano and compiling family history and photographs.

She is survived by her husband, Donald, at home; sons, Byron (Deborah) of Nome, and Paul (Kaoru) of Takoname, Japan; daughters, Laura (Gerald) Hall of Battle Ground and Julie Olstead of Battle Ground; sisters, Ronale Anson of Anchorage, Alaska, and Donna Fields of Sandpoint, Idaho; 14 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Memorial services will be held Saturday, Dec. 9, 2006, at 11 a.m. at Layne's Funeral Home Chapel in Battle Ground.
