Iraq war is latest chapter in ideology of despots

| December 20, 2006 8:00 PM

The Neo-Cons' theses on world domination, as dictated in "The Project For A New American Century," is the 21 century's version of an ideology advanced by despots and tyrants since the beginning of time.

Is there anyone who truly believes that the peoples of Iraq are better off today then under the brutal thumb of the evil Saddam? Is the Middle East more stable today than yesterday? Has the past six years since the demise of terrorism and terrorists?

The answer is no to all these questions. In fact, the actions of our government have served Osama and promoted his obscene philosophy beyond his wildest dreams. Our actions have increased by the hundreds of thousands those dedicated to the demise of my beloved America.

I believe "shock and awe" delivered by my government against the innocent peoples of Iraq is terrorism in the truest sense of the world.

Bring my young brother and sister warriors home. We need them here to protect us. They need us to assist in healing their damaged psyches and self esteem. When they return, we need to line the streets of hometown America and cheer their dedication and efforts to serve. We need to embrace them and assure them that they have our respect and love.

We must educate our armed forces that they have the right and duty to resist and oppose any and all attempts, from without and within, to use them in enforcing a dubious, unethical or illegitimate philosophy. We need to build a force that serves humanity, not corporate desires and a warped doctrine of world domination as ordained by flawed pseudo-intellectuals who claim to be commanded by God.
