Raising taxes for center is not a good idea

Please don't forget to vote on Feb. 7. I am a senior citizen on a fixed income. Raising the taxes for a sports center is not a good idea. From what I have learned since it was first proposed, it would be better for the sponsors to put their money together and built it for the private enterprise that it could be. There are too many people who live so far away that just getting to the facility would be a hardship. Please vote no.

After reading all of the letters to the editor, I want to add my name and thanks to the list of those who have researched and shared their information with all of us.
