Liberals' bias will not allow them to see truth

| February 6, 2006 8:00 PM

Some thoughts on liberal bias in media and our president:

I find it interesting that a liberal can look at something like public radio or the mainstream media and judge it to be unbiased and fair coverage. Wow, that is like asking the leader of the Ku Klux Klan what is fair treatment of the black population. Seeing what is liberal is obvious to someone that is conservative.

Most of the mainstream media, including public radio, is controlled by liberals (the last figure I heard, 80 percent of mainstream media's reporters were liberals). Of course their bias is going to show through. And what is wrong with that? If you're liberal, why be ashamed of it? I'm a born-again Christian, right-wing Republican and proud of it. To be fair, however, we need a balance of reporters from this side of the aisle, especially in public-sponsored media. I wouldn't want the media completely filled with by people I agree with. I get a good laugh from some of the stuff liberals come up with.

As for the actions of our president and his administration, our economy is booming due to tax cuts even with the extremes of hurricanes and war. Also we haven't had a serious attack on our soil since 9/11 and we have two countries that were threats to us that are now positive forces in the Mideast. These same countries also will be buying what we produce and selling us oil, making our economy even stronger. So good job, President Bush.
