Sandpoint wrestlers thump Post Falls
POST FALLS — The Post Falls Trojans have just a week to go before the district tournament, and tonight hosted a tough Bulldog team.
Timmy Pepperdine, Sheldon Cramer, Jerod Morris and James VanEssen had pins for the Bulldogs.
Bobby Kuber moved up a class to take on Kyle Meschko in a match that did not disappoint for exitement. A five-point fireman's carry by Meschko turned out to be the difference.
The Trojans Danny Booth (119) pushed a match against Alec Ward to overtime before finally losing 6-2.
"We have a week to get ready (for districts)", Post Falls coach Dennis Amende said. "We'll see if we can close the gap and get another shot at these guys."
Sandpoint competes in the Disrtict tournament next weekend.
