NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARINGS

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Bonner County Commissioners will hold public hearings at the following times on Wednesday, March 1, 2006, in the Board Room of the Bonner County Courthouse, 215 S. First Avenue, Sandpoint, Idaho, to consider the following requests:

1:30 P.M. - FILE SS1263-05 - MENDES PLACE - PRELIMINARY PLAT - RON & DEBBIE MENDE are proposing to subdivide a +/-10 acre parcel into 2 aliquot lots, of +/-4.93 acres each. The subject property is zoned Rural and is accessed by Baldy Mountain Road in Section 18, Township 57 North, Range 2 West, B.M., +/-2 miles west of Sandpoint.

1:45 P.M. - FILE S1216-05 - CREEK VIEW ESTATES - PRELIMINARY PLAT - MARK & KIM GERBER are seeking approval to subdivide a +/-47-acre parcel into six 5-acre residential lots. Approximately 17 acres of the property would be boundary line adjusted into the adjacent property to the east. The site is zoned Rural, and is located off of Dufort Road, +/-11 miles southwest of the City of Sandpoint, in Section 27, Township 56 North, Range 3 West, B.M. The Planning & Zoning Commission at its regularly scheduled public hearing of January 19th recommended approval of this application to the Board of County Commissioners.

2:15 P.M. - FILE SS1262-05 - RICHARDSON'S RIDGE - PRELIMINARY PLAT - DONALD & JANNA RICHARDSON are proposing to subdivide a +/-19.8 acre parcel into three lots of 5 acres to +/-9.8 acres. The subject property is zoned Rural, and is located on Blacktail Road +/-18 miles south of Sandpoint in Section 6 of Township 54 North Range 2 West, B.M.

2:30 P.M. - FILE SS1197-05 - HANNAH ACRES - PRELIMINARY PLAT - STEVEN AND BARBARA HAGAN are proposing to subdivide a +/-17.85 acre parcel into a +/-11 acre lot and a +/-7 acre lot. The site is zoned Rural, and is located off of Freeman Lake Road in Section 18, Township 56 North, Range 5 West, B.M.

2:45 P.M. - FILE SS1183-05 - HARRY'S ACRES - PRELIMINARY PLAT - JESSE & GLORIA ROSS are proposing to subdivide a 30 acre parcel of land into three 10 acre lots. The site is zoned Agricultural, and is located off of Nitty Gritty Lane in Section 36, Township 55 North, Range 4 West, B.M., +/-10 miles southeast of the City of Priest River.

3:00 P.M. - FILE SS1254-05 - DARWOOD / BURROW SUBDIVISION - PRELIMINARY PLAT - LYNN DARWOOD is requesting to subdivide a 20.8 acre parcel into four 5.2 acre lots. The site is zoned Rural and is located off of Highway 41, +/-5 miles north of city of Spirit Lake in Section 26, Township 54 North, Range 5 West, B.M.

Please contact the Bonner County Planning Department the day before the scheduled hearings to verify if these items will be heard on the date and at the time specified or continued to another date and time.

IN THE EVENT THAT OCCUPANCY OF THE BOARD ROOM EXCEEDS FIRE CODE STANDARDS, THE HEARINGS COULD BE RELOCATED TO ANOTHER PUBLIC LOCATION WITHIN WALKING DISTANCE. SIGNS WILL BE POSTED IDENTIFYING THE NEW LOCATION.
