Taxpayer-funded center was simply a bad idea

In the Feb. 11 article regarding the defeated taxpayer-funded hockey rink, Robert Pierce implied that the vast majority of voters that turned out for the election are "uneducated" (or perhaps he means stupid?).

The fact is we know exactly what we are doing and if he ever manages to get the idea on the ballot again, I will vote "no" again. I will continue to vote "no" every time he tries to force me to pay for a place that benefits only a small minority of people.

Oh, and no, I'm not angry at Boise, nor would I take it out on "our communities' children" if I were.
