Nila C. Livingstone, 64, passed away near Sagle on Sunday morning, Feb. 12, 2006.

Memorial services will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Feb. 16, 2006, in the Sandpoint Christian Center on Boyer Avenue. Pastor David Nelson will officiate.

Nila was born in Newport, Ore., on June 17, 1941. She attended schools in the Salem, Ore., area, later living in Pendleton and Hermiston, Ore.

She lived in Renton, Wash., from 1979 until 2000, when she moved to Sagle, Idaho. In Renton, she worked for Goodwill Industries sorting toys.

She was a member of the Sandpoint Christian Center in Sandpoint. On Jan. 1, 2006, she celebrated 29 years with AA. She served as a sponsor many times over.

She was loved by all who had the good fortune to meet her. She will be surely missed, but she lives on in the sparkle of our eyes, laughing, quiet, gentle, loving and wise. She is now in the presence of the Lord.

She is survived by two children, Lana Scoville of Reno, Nev., and Loren Livingstone of Auburn, Wash.; a grandchild, Cory Meyer of Reno; two great-grandchildren, Micah and Colbie Meyer of Reno; a brother, Jim Jeffers of Salem; and a sister, Sharon Sutton of Salem. She was preceded in death by her parents; and two brothers, Jay and Cecil.

Memorials may be made to the Sandpoint Christian Center in memory of Nila Livingstone.

Funeral arrangements are entrusted to the care of Coffelt Funeral Service of Sandpoint, Idaho.
