NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARINGS
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Bonner County Planning and Zoning Commission will hold public hearings at the following times on Thursday, March 2, 2006, in Courtroom No. 4 of the Bonner County Courthouse, 215 S. First Avenue, Sandpoint, Idaho, to consider the following requests.
5:00 P.M. - FILE ZC319-05 - ZONE CHANGE REQUEST: SUBURBAN-1/3 TO RURAL - JOHN PETTIS, ET AL are seeking to rezone two parcels totaling +/-21 acres from Suburban 1/3 (site area minimums ranging from 12,000 square feet to 2.5 acres) to Rural (site area minimums of 5 acres) to accommodate future homesite development on a private easement. The site is located off Lakeshore Drive, +/-11.5 miles southwest of Sandpoint in Section 16, Township 56 North, Range 3 West, B.M.
5:15 P.M. - FILE S1304-05 - RIVERBEND RIDGE - PRELIMINARY PLAT - CHERYL & FRED HALPIN are requesting to subdivide a +/-32.5 acre parcel into six lots ranging in size from 5 acres to 6.44 acres. The site is zoned Rural and is located off of Dufort Road, +/-18 miles southwest of the city of Sandpoint, in Section 31, Township 56 North, Range 3 West, B.M.
5:45 P.M. - FILE S1243-05 - AIDEN ACRES - PRELIMINARY PLAT - J. HANK & JANET HESTER are seeking approval to subdivide a 60-acre parcel into twelve 5-acre residential lots. The site is zoned Rural and is located off of Saunders Road & Redneck Drive, +/-10 miles northwest of the City of Spirit Lake, in Section 1, Township 54 North, Range 6 West, B.M.
6:15 P.M. - FILE S1249-05 - KL WILLOW ESTATES - PRELIMINARY PLAT - RICK & PATRICIA WILMOT are requesting approval to subdivide a +/-57 acre parcel into 10 lots, between 5.01 acres and +/-6.19 acres. The site is located off of Kelso Lake Road +/-21 miles southwest of Sandpoint on Kelso Lake, in Section 21, Township 54 North, Range 3 West, B.M.
6:45 P.M. - FILE C770-03 - CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT FOR MINING - PAUL & TINA STORRO are seeking a conditional use permit to bring into compliance an existing gravel mine operation and to allow for crushing and screening of materials on site. The property is accessed from Old Dickensheet Road, +/-24 miles north of the city of Priest River, in Section 22, Township 59 North, Range 4 West, B.M. The site is described as Lot 1 of Storro Brothers Subdivision.
