NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARINGS

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Bonner County Commissioners will hold public hearings at the following times on Wednesday, March 15, 2006, in the Board Room of the Bonner County Courthouse, 215 S. First Avenue, Sandpoint, Idaho, to consider the following requests:

1:30 P.M. - FILE S1218-05 - ELK RIDGE ESTATES - PRELIMINARY PLAT - MOLLY MC LAUGHLIN is seeking approval to subdivide a 25-acre parcel into 5 residential lots of 5 acres each. The site is zoned Rural and is located on Upper Rocky Road, +/-10.2 miles southeast of the City of Sandpoint, in Section 7, Township 56 North, Range 1 West, B.M. The Planning & Zoning Commission at its public hearing of February 2, 2006, recommended approval of this application to the Board of County Commissioners.

2:00 P.M. - FILE S1185-05 - QUAIL RIDGE - PRELIMINARY PLAT - SPIRIT LAKE NORTH, LLC is seeking preliminary plat approval to subdivide 640 acres into 112 lots of 5 acres each and one 80-acre "designated remainder." The site is zoned Rural and is located off Spirit Lake Cut-off Road via an Idaho Department of Lands access road, +/-4 miles north of Spirit Lake. The property is described as all of Section 21, Township 54 North, Range 4 West, B.M. The Planning & Zoning Commission at its public hearing of December 1, 2005, recommended approval of this application to the Board of County Commissioners.

Please contact the Bonner County Planning Department the day before the scheduled hearings to verify if these items will be heard on the date and at the time specified or continued to another date and time.

ADVERTISEMENT

FOR BIDS

Sealed Bids will be received by Bonner County at the office of the County Clerk of said County on or before the 7th day of March, 2006, until the hour of 9:30 a.m. for the 2006 Asphalt Paving - District Three.

The project generally consists of asphalt paving for District Three in Bonner County.

Bids will be opened in the office of the Commissioners at the Bonner County Court House on March 7, 2006, at 9:30 am on said date. All interested individuals are welcome to attend.

Bid forms, bidder's instructions, and specifications and contract forms may be examined at the following location:

? Bonner County Public Works Office, 4100 McGhee Road, Suite C, Sandpoint, ID 83864, Phone 208-255-5681.

Copies may be obtained at the Public Works Office.

All bids shall be presented or otherwise delivered to the Clerk of the Board of County Commissioners under seal with a concise statement marked on the outside thereof identifying the expenditure to which the bid pertains.

All bids shall contain one of the following forms of bidder's security in an amount equal to 5% of the amount bid: (a) Cash, (b) Cashiers Check made payable to the County, (c) Certified Check made payable to the County, or (d) bidder's bond executed by a qualified Idaho Surety Company, made payable to the County.

The right is reserved to reject any or all Bids.
