Kyle Meschko, who was seeded second, was upset at 145 pounds in the first round, but rebounded nicely with a consolation round pin. Darren Thompson (130) and Jesse Peterson (275) both won their consolation round matches.

Many of the Bulldogs' wins carried with them extra points, and they will need some big wins today to stay in the hunt for a top three place. For up to the minute scores and bracket updates, go to Idahowrestlingnews.com.
