Bulldogs fall flat on road against Moscow

| January 6, 2006 8:00 PM

MOSCOW — A very disciplined Moscow team made the Bulldogs pay for their sloppy play as they won the Inland Empire League game 77-48 Friday night in Moscow.

Brian Shultz had 15 points and four rebounds and Chase Lowther added ten points as the Bulldogs (5-4, 2-1) fell behind early and were beaten soundly in all phases of the game.

"It was a poor effort all around," said coach Tyler Haynes. "They came out with more intensity and took it right to us. Moscow is very disciplined, if you don't do things correctly you're in trouble. They saw what we were doing and took advantage of it."

Shane Miller led Moscow with 15 points, four rebounds and three steals and the bears finished 8-16 from three point land.

The one saving grace is that the Bulldogs will get a quick shot at redemption when they host Moscow next Friday.

"Our kids will look at film in practice and correct the things we did wrong," said Haynes.

Sandpoint is at Post Falls next Tuesday.
