Carol Lee Gulman, 74, passed away in Sandpoint, Idaho, on Wednesday, Jan. 11, 2006.

Graveside funeral services will be conducted at noon on Saturday, Jan. 14, 2006, in the Pinegrove Cemetery in Rathdrum, Idaho.

Carol was born in Fremont, Neb., on Dec. 28, 1931. She moved to Anaheim, Calif., when she was a child and graduated from high school in 1949. On June 30, 1950, she married Richard Gulman in Buena Park, Calif.

For many year, she worked as a teacher's aide in the Norwalk, Calif., school system, and was active in the Parent Teachers Association there.

She moved to the Sandpoint area in 1993, enjoying gardening, reading and playing pinochle with her family and friends.

She is survived by her husband, Dick Gulman of Sandpoint; three children, Jory (and Denise) Gulman of Careywood, Idaho, Tim Gulman of Sandpoint, and Gary (and Paula) Gulman of Hayden, Idaho; a daughter-in-law, Carol Gulman, of Post Falls; six grandchildren and two great-granddaughters; a brother, Don Dewell of Paradise, Calif.; a sister, Patricia Gorham of Sandpoint; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and a son, Rick.

Funeral arrangements are under the care of Coffelt Funeral Service of Sandpoint.
