Clarence Edward Tyler, 67, passed away in Sandpoint, Idaho, on Saturday, Jan. 21, 2006.

Private family services were held.

Clarence was born in Sandpoint, Idaho, on July 22, 1938, the son of James and Goldie Tyler. He attended Bonner County schools and later worked on the Northern Pacific Railroad as a section hand. For many years he lived in Wenatchee, Wash., working in the fruit industry and operating cold storage units. He returned to Sandpoint in 1996.

He was a member of the Nazarene Church and enjoyed fishing the streams and lakes of the Northwest.

He is survived by three brothers, James Tyler of Sagle, Idaho, George Tyler of Seattle, Wash., and Gary Tyler of Ponderay, Idaho; two sisters, Pat Tyler of Kellogg, Idaho, and Viola Rose of Seattle, Wash.; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother.

Final arrangements are under the care of Coffelt Funeral Service.
