Randall Franklin 'Joe' Bricker, 87

Randall Franklin "Joe" Bricker, 87, passed away on Tuesday, Jan. 24, 2006, in Sandpoint, Idaho.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 28, 2006, at Coffelt Funeral Chapel in Sandpoint. Burial will be at Pinecrest Memorial Park Cemetery.

Joe was born on Dec. 3, 1918, in Belle Plain, Iowa, the son of Edgar and Ollie (Warnack) Bricker.

Joe had two sons by his first wife, Leona McNutt. He married Nancy Della (Forell) Rigby on Nov. 5, 1966, with her five children in attendance. He became a father to her children and they had two children together.

Joe was a truck driver most of his career and was a proud member of the Teamsters Union. He retired in 1979.

Joe enjoyed dancing, playing guitar and singing as well as reading western novels.

Joe is survived by nine children, Ron (Cricket) Bricker of Kennewick, Wash., Ken (Sue) Bricker of Meridian, Idaho, Larry (Tammy) Bricker of Oldtown, Idaho, Christa (Pat) Francis of Kootenai, Cheryl (Stan) Allen of Hope, Steve Rigby of Kootenai, Idaho, Starla (Dan) Staglund of Sandpoint, Dara Roop of Post Falls and Kevin Rigby of Ephrata, Wash. He also is survived by 28 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Joe was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Della; eight brothers and one sister.

Arrangements are entrusted to the care of Coffelt Funeral Service of Sandpoint.
