We need to raise our standards of living by re-creating a chemical-free environment. It's so unfortunate we have learned to live with standards like what is the least amount of harmful toxins or substances versus eradicating all toxic substances! Why use any chemicals in our lake? What about the run off of chemical pesticides and fertilizers from the local golf courses? How is this impairing the health of our lake and contributing to the milfoil bloom? Chemicals are just temporary solutions — Band-Aids with big side affects.
