Lake Pend Oreille can't fall victim to 'chemical insanity'

There are alternatives to the control of the Eurasian Water Milfoil problem that do not require poisons being placed in our waterways. I oppose the poisoning of Lake Pend Oreille and other area waterways.
As a voting taxpayer I demand that those public officials responsible for the decision to use poison give serious consideration to these alternatives. Our waterways are a precious resource and must be protected from this chemical assault.
Once it becomes known, this chemical insanity will also have a negative impact on area tourism and our economy.
