Helen Louise DeBoer, 55, passed away in Sandpoint, Idaho, on Wednesday, July 5, 2006.

Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. on Monday, July 10, 2006, in Coffelt's Funeral Chapel. Pastor Lester Perry will officiate with interment following in Pack River Cemetery.

Helen was born on Oct. 31, 1950, in Pensacola, Fla., the daughter of Mason and Gladys Agerton. She graduated from Escambia High School in Pensacola in 1968.

On June 15, 1971, she and Larry DeBoer were married.

In 1972, she received her nursing degree in Sacramento, Calif., and also had a federal nursing license.

She moved to Sandpoint in 1982 and worked as a nurse at Bonner General Hospital and Kootenai Medical Center. She retired in 1997 due to health reasons.

She enjoyed quilting and belonged to many quilting guilds.

She is survived by her husband of 35 years, Larry DeBoer of Sandpoint; three children, Tina Williams of Athol, Idaho, Michael DeBoer of Spokane and Kim Sahli of Post Falls, Idaho; eight grandchildren; a brother, Curtis Agerton of Houston, Texas; two sisters, Mary Sterns of Pensacola and Diane Wyrosdic of Pittsview, Ala.; three nieces; and four nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Funeral arrangements are under the care of Coffelt Funeral Service.
