NOTICE OF ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS

Sealed bids will be received by the City of Hope, P.O. Box 227 Hope, Idaho 83836 at the office of the City on or before the day of July 27 , 2006 until the hour of 4:00 O'clock p.m. of said day, for:

City of Hope Water System Improvements

Bids will be opened at the office of the City at 4:00 O'clock p.m. on said date. All interested individuals are welcome to attend.

A pre-bid conference will be held at the project site at 2:00 O'clock p.m. on July 20th 2006.

Bid forms, bidder's instructions, plans and specifications, and contract forms are available to interested bidders at the office of the Engineer. A $30.00 Non-refundable fee will be required for Contract Documents.

All bids shall be presented or otherwise delivered to the City Office under seal with a concise statement marked on the outside thereof identifying the project to which the bid pertains.

All bids shall contain one (1) of the following forms of bidder's security in an amount equal to five (5%) percent of the amount bid: (a) Cash, (b) Cashiers Check made payable to the City, (c) Certified Check made payable to the City, (d) bidder's bond executed by a surety company fully qualified to do business in the State of Idaho, made payable to the City.
