Peroxide works wonders in eliminating blood stains
When our children were young, they constantly got skinned knees and bloody noses. They would come screaming into the house dripping blood everywhere. If this happens to you, try this, it really works great.
Fresh or dried blood — use cold water or club soda. Take a wet sponge or rag with water or soda on it and immediately wipe up the spots. Repeat as necessary. If blood gets into the cracks of the floor, pour a little peroxide (3 percent) on the cracks. Let it bubble the blood out of the crack, then wipe up. Repeat as necessary.
If there is blood on their clothes, have them take their clothes off, then pour a little peroxide (3 percent) on the blood stain. Wait about three to five minutes, then rinse with cold water. If some of the blood remains, repeat the process again.
If you are allergic to any of the above products, please don't use them. Always test fabric and paints before using any chemical compound. Please remember to wear rubber gloves to protect your hands and eye protection for your eyes.
