HEARING FOR SURPLUS EQUIPMENT SALE

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Independent Highway District Board of Commissioners declared a 1977 John Deere grader and a 1980 GMC dump truck as surplus equipment at the July 5, 2006 special meeting. THe District will hold a public hearing to address the sale of the equipment on Wednesday, July 26, 2006 at 4:00 p.m. at the District shop located at 1805 Baldy Mountain Road, Sandpoint, Idaho. Any person interested may appear and show cause why the sale of the equipment should not be made. Should the District proceed with the sale of the equipment, the equipment will be on display at the District shop located at 1805 Baldy Mountain Road, Sandpoint from June 27 through August 2, 2006. Minimum bid will be required. Sealed bids must be delivered to the District shop no later than noon on Wednesday, August 2, 2006. Bids will be opened Thursday, August 3 at 8:00 a.m. For more information, please call the District office at (208)263-8131.
