NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARINGS

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Bonner County Commissioners will hold public hearings at the following times on Wednesday, August 9, 2006, in the Board Room of the Bonner County Courthouse, 215 S. First Avenue, Sandpoint, Idaho, to consider the following requests:

1:30 P.M. - FILE S1294-05 - ALBENSON ESTATES - PRELIMINARY PLAT - JIM & MARCY HANSON are proposing to subdivide a +/-21 acre parcel into four lots of 5.25 acres each. The subject property is zoned Suburban, and is located off Everett Huff Road +/-5 miles northwest of Priest River in Section 19, Township 56 North, Range 5 West. The Planning & Zoning Commission at its regularly scheduled public hearing of June 8th recommended approval of this application to the Board of County Commissioners.

1:45 P.M. - FILE - S1348-06 - FLOYD ACRES - PRELIMINARY PLAT - ALVIE FLOYD is requesting preliminary plat approval to subdivide +/-127 acres into 20 residential lots ranging in size from 5 to 10.25 acres. The site is located +/-2 miles west of Priest River on the north side of U.S. Highway 2 West, north and east of the Mormon Church. The property is zoned Rural and is located in Section 21, Township 56 North, Range 5 West, B.M. The Planning & Zoning Commission at its regularly scheduled public hearing of July 13th recommended approval of this application to the Board of County Commissioners.

2:00 P.M. - FILE S1341-06 - SADDLE RIDGE - PRELIMINARY PLAT - CARL G. OBLINGER TRUST is requesting to subdivide a +/-92.7 acre parcel into 18 lots of 5 to 6.3 acres in size. The site is zoned Rural and is located off of South Sagle Road, +/-10 miles southeast of Sandpoint in Section 23, Township 56 North, Range 2 West. The Planning & Zoning Commission at its regularly scheduled public hearing of July 13th recommended approval of this application to the Board of County Commissioners.

Please contact the Bonner County Planning Department the day before the scheduled hearings to verify if these items will be heard on the date and at the time specified or continued to another date and time.

IN THE EVENT THAT OCCUPANCY OF THE BOARD ROOM EXCEEDS FIRE CODE STANDARDS, THE HEARINGS COULD BE RELOCATED TO ANOTHER PUBLIC LOCATION WITHIN WALKING DISTANCE. SIGNS WILL BE POSTED IDENTIFYING THE NEW LOCATION.
