Bonner County needs commissioners to stay
Dear Commissioners Phillips, Dye and Young:
Thank you for your actions of July 14, 2006. You have every state government official staring at each other, wide-eyed saying, "What now?" What a feather in Bonner County's cap! You three made the ground shake for the taxpayers of the United States of America.
Bonner County needs your team in office now and to continue for the next few years. Your actions are a wake up call. Our county needs the best, and they are in office now for this county, our home.
I am proud to say "I voted for each of you" when I look at: (1) overhaul of the 911 system; (2) the new dispatch center; (3) the new ambulance district — updated emergency medical vehicles are here with proper equipment and professional staffing. After a privately-owned ambulance business packed up and left town, our local fire districts filled in. Commissioner Phillips and the great county people made all that happen.
Bonner County's residents are impacted by sudden growth, taxes, cost of living, housing, fuel, heating oil, health care and the list goes on. November's voting will decide which way Bonner County travels — forward or back in time to January 1997 to 2001.
Wow, that period of time in Bonner County.
