Jerry Michael Gollen, 52

Jerry Michael Gollen, 52, passed away in Sagle, Idaho, on Friday, July 21, 2006.

Memorial services will be conducted at 4 p.m. on Saturday, July 29, 2006, at the Gollen residence, 4797 Sagle Road.

Jerry was born on Nov. 15, 1953, in Sandpoint, Idaho, the son of Donald and Lillian (Mask) Gollen. He attended Sagle School, Sandpoint Junior High and graduated from Sandpoint High School in 1972.

He was on the Sandpoint High School wrestling team, competing at the state level. He also helped as an assistant wrestling coach for the high school.

Jerry worked locally in the woods as a logger, running a chain saw.

He enjoyed fishing, hunting and being in the woods. He will be missed by his family and friends.

He is survived by his mother, Lillian (and Dick) Spade of Sagle; a daughter, Susanne Pettie of Ferndale, Wash.; a grandson, Malik Brown of Ferndale; a brother, Archie Gollen of Sagle; and three nephews, Cole, Glenn and Dylan Gollen.

He was preceded in death by his father and a brother, Donnie.

Final arrangements are entrusted to the care of Coffelt Funeral Service of Sandpoint.
