Elvena J. Worsfold, 81

Elvena J. Worsfold, 81, passed away July 21, 2006, at her home in Sandpoint, Idaho, where she was cared for by her daughter, Vera "Beth" Wood, and son-in-law, Hank Wood, for many years.

Elvena was preceded in death by her husband, Elmer "Elmo" Worsfold; her parents, Clarence and Vera Mann; and a brother, Howard Mann.

Elvena is survived by her brother, Warren Mann; a sister, Margery Garwin; sons, Frank Waterman and John Waterman; daughter, Vera "Beth" Wood; grandchildren, Mary Waterman, Tessa Waterman, Johnny Waterman, Abraham Waterman, Emily Waterman, Elizabeth Wood, Elizabeth Wood and Stephanie Wood; her nephew Lyle Mann; and nieces Jolena Bare and Jerry Bare.

Elvena married Robert G. Waterman in Salmon, Idaho, and moved to Post Falls, Idaho, where they later divorced. Elvena married Elmer "Elmo" Worsford in 1977 in Post Falls.

Elvena worked as a nurse for many years. She was a member of Good Sam, RNA, AARP and Senior Citizens of Post Falls.

Memorial services will be held on Saturday, Aug. 5, 2006, at English Funeral Chapel in Post Falls at 3 p.m.
