NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Bonner County Board of Commissioners will hold a public hearing at the following time on Wednesday, June 21, 2006, in Courtroom #4 of the Bonner County Courthouse, 215 S. First Avenue, Sandpoint, Idaho, to consider the following request:

1:00 P.M. - FILE #AM91-06 - ORDINANCE AMENDMENT - TITLE 12 - PRIVATE ROAD STANDARDS - BONNER COUNTY is accepting additional public testimony regarding the county-initiated ordinance to adopt private road standards for new subdivisions. The Board of Commissioners at its May 24, 2006, public hearing on the proposed amendment called for revisions to the definition of driveway and considered additional changes to the ordinance proposed by staff and the Planning & Zoning Commission. Copies of the proposed revisions are available at the Bonner County Planning Department for review. The ordinance proposes to amend Title 12, Bonner County Revised Code, Chapter 23, Section 12-2305 (design criteria for all subdivisions) to establish minimum standards for private roads being developed for subdivisions within unincorporated Bonner County.

Please contact the Bonner County Planning Department the day before the scheduled hearing to verify if this item will be heard on the date and at the time specified or continued to another date and time.

IN THE EVENT THAT COURTROOM 4 IS NOT AVAILABLE, THE HEARING COULD BE RELOCATED TO ANOTHER PUBLIC LOCATION WITHIN WALKING DISTANCE. SIGNS WILL BE POSTED IDENTIFYING THE NEW LOCATION.
