Richard W. Price, 77

Richard W. Price, 77, of Sandpoint, Idaho, died at home on June 6, 2006, of cancer.

A Rosary will be said at 7 p.m. on Sunday, June 11, 2006, at Coffelt Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, June 12, 2006, at St. Joseph's Catholic Church.

Richard was born Sept. 9, 1928, in El Paso, Texas. He joined the Merchant Marines, serving until 1957, after which he worked for American President Lines until retirement in 1993.

He was married to Alice Rybicki from 1950 until her death in 1985. In 1993, he and Catherine Salvisberg were married. They moved to Sandpoint in 1996 and built a home on the lake.

Richard is survived by his wife, Catherine; children, Ron, Kathleen, Marcella and Felicia; eight grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
