NOTICE OF OPPORTUNITY FOR PUBLIC COMMENT ON A PERMIT APPLICATION WITH THE OPTION TO REQUEST A PUBLIC
COMMENT PERIOD ON THE PROPOSED PERMIT TO CONSTRUCT
SUBJECT: Application No. P-050111 for a permit to construct an air pollution-emitting source and proposed action: Diedrich Manufacturing, Ponderay, is applying for a permit to construct a coffee roaster production facility.
PURPOSE: The Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) has scheduled a period to receive public comments on the air quality aspects of the project application. The DEQ is also soliciting requests to hold a 30-day public comment period on the proposed permit when it is drafted.
AUTHORITY: In compliance with Section 58.01.01.209, Rules for the Control of Air Pollution in Idaho, notice is hereby given that Diedrich Manufacturing, Ponderay, Idaho has applied to DEQ for a permit to construct an air pollution source located at 24 Emerald Industrial Park Road, Ponderay, Idaho.
PUBLIC COMMENT PERIOD: Pursuant to Section 58.01.01.209, a public comment period on the proposed permit may be provided if written requests are submitted to the undersigned on or before July 11, 2006. Please note that a proposed permit has not been developed at this time. It is the application that is available for review. A proposed permit will be made available for review during the 30-day public comment period if one is requested.
