Justin Ryan Caswell, 24
Justin Ryan Caswell, 24, passed away on Monday, June 5, 2006, while pursuing his favorite passion of traveling, in Cancun, Mexico.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Thursday, June 15, 2006, in Coffelt's Funeral Chapel in Sandpoint, Idaho. Interment will be in Pinecrest Memorial Park.
A celebration of Justin's life will follow the funeral services at Hooties at the Elks at 4 p.m.
Justin was born Aug. 1, 1981, in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, the son of Rod and Mickie Caswell.
He was a Sandpoint local, graduating from Sandpoint High School in 1999, attending Boise State University more recently.
Justin had a passion for the outdoors and spent much of his free time exploring the Selkirk and Cabinet Mountains. His witty humor, caring personality and enjoyment of life will be missed by all.
Throughout his adolescence and adulthood, he found delight in high-speed thrilling adventures, films and Monopoly. Justin was known for flying down hills while mountain biking, speeding on four-wheelers, enjoyed zip lines and flying. His curiosity, bravery and ability to problem solve made Justin the ultimate traveling partner. His calm demeanor and love of adventure were qualities that drew people to Justin.
Justin was a true morning person. In 1999, he won grand champion swine in 4-H and was currently volunteering as a youth 4-H leader this summer. He will be missed by many, many friends and is known throughout the community as an outstanding young man with intrinsic charismatic ability.
He has a very large family in the Inland Northwest as well as paternal ties in Australia. Justin has worked in real estate with Tomlinson Black since 2003. Academia and his profession came easily to Justin due to his superior intellect and high moral and high ethical integrity.
He is survived by his mother, Mickie Jane Caswell; his father, Rodney James Caswell; his sister, Amanda Grace Caswell; aunt, Patricia Callahan (Richard Albers), Pearl Neveau (Jim Neveau), Kay Blayne (Richard Blayne), Dell Grindrod (John Grindrod), Coral Barfoot (Michael Barfoot) and Patricia Caswell; uncle, Larry Gleason; and a vast array of cousins and extended family.
