NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

Notice is hereby given that the Sandpoint Planning Commission will hold a public hearing at their meeting on Tuesday, June 20, 2006, at 5:30 p.m. in the council chambers at City Hall, 1123 Lake Street, Sandpoint, ID, to consider the following:

1. V06-03 - A request by the Lake Pend Oreille School District for a variance from the height provisions of the Commercial "D," Residence "C," and Residence "A" zones to allow for installation of a District telecommunication system at four locations as follows:

a. A 110-foot tall monopole at the Sandpoint High School. The site is located at 410 S. Division Avenue and described as Tax Nos. 74,75, and 86 in the SE 1 / 4 of Section 21, Township 57 North, Range 2 W.B.M. The site is zoned Commercial "D."

b. A 120-foot tall monopole at the Lake Pend Oreille Alternative High School. The site is located at 1005 N. Boyer Avenue and described as Block 1, Graham's Addition in Section 15, Township 57 North, Range 2 W.B.M. The site is zoned Residence "C."

c. A 100-foot tall monopole at Farmin-Stidwell Elementary School. The site is located at 1626 Spruce Street and described as Tax #10 in the South 1 / 2 of the SE 1 / 4 of Section 16, Township 57 North, Range 2 W.B.M. The site is zoned Residence "A."

d. A 90-foot tall monopole at Washington Elementary School. The site is located at 420 S. Boyer and described as Lots 8-17 and the vacated alley of Block 9, Southmayd McKinney Wilson 2nd Addition in Section 22, Township 57 North, Range 2 W.B.M. The site is zoned Residence "A."
