NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARINGS

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Bonner County Commissioners will hold public hearings at the following times on Wednesday, July 5, 2006, in the Board Room of the Bonner County Courthouse, 215 S. First Avenue, Sandpoint, Idaho, to consider the following requests:

4:00 P.M. - FILE S1305-05 - HUNTER RIDGE - PRELIMINARY PLAT - BRIAN SCHMID is requesting to subdivide a +/-60.7 acre parcel into twelve lots that range in size from 5 to 5.38 acres in size. The site is zoned Rural and is located off of Blacktail Road +/-12 miles south of the City of Sandpoint, in Section 17, Township 55 North, Range 2 West. The Planning & Zoning Commission at its June 8 public hearing recommended approval of this application.

4:15 P.M. - FILE S1271-05 - SAUER'S ACRES FIRST ADDITION - PRELIMINARY PLAT - SAUER CHARITABLE REMAINDER TRUST is proposing to subdivide +/-3.7 acres into two 1-acre lots and one 1.5-acre lot in the Sagle area. The parcel is zoned Suburban and is located south of the intersection of Beverly and Ivy Drives in Section 16, Township 56 North, Range 2 West. The Planning & Zoning Commission at its June 8 public hearing recommended approval of this application.

Please contact the Bonner County Planning Department the day before the scheduled hearings to verify if these items will be heard on the date and at the time specified or continued to another date and time.

IN THE EVENT THAT OCCUPANCY OF THE BOARD ROOM EXCEEDS FIRE CODE STANDARDS, THE HEARINGS COULD BE RELOCATED TO ANOTHER PUBLIC LOCATION WITHIN WALKING DISTANCE. SIGNS WILL BE POSTED IDENTIFYING THE NEW LOCATION.
